Getting Started with Title and Writ Searches (ON)
RealtiWeb is able to search for titles and writs directly in the file. The results are seamlessly brought into the
Issues screen for use in documents.
Below are introductions for both on how to get started with your search.Note: if you save your Teranet Connectâ„¢ credentials in User Settings (available under Tools), RealtiWeb can speed up logging in going forward.
Title Search Options
By default, RealtiWeb opens the option to search by PIN. If you don't know the PIN, use the following options:
- Address: searches using the subject property address
- Owner Name: searches using the registered names on the title
- List Names: searches based on names similar to the registered owners
All the above options use information from the RealtiWeb file. Additional search options include:
- Instrument/Plan: searches using an instrument number, condo plan, or subdividual plan
- Pull Instrument: retrieves the documents associated with searched instruments
For information on running your first search using Teranet Connectâ„¢, read
