Title Importing in Realti Alberta

Title Importing in Realti Alberta

One of the first steps in the Basic section is importing the Title Search that you have obtained from Spin2. The title can be imported into the file by clicking on the Import button in the Title Search Import bar, or from the Property section located under Legal Description(s). Alternatively, this can be also completed by clicking on Title Search under the Due Diligence section.

InfoNote:  A link to Spin2 can also be found under the Due Diligence heading in the left hand navigation panel.

There are two ways to import the Title Search into your file:
  1. Browse
  2. Manual

Instructions are provided onscreen for each method. If your preference is to save a PDF of the Title Search outside of Realti, then choose the Browse option.

If you want to import the Title Search manually, follow these steps:
  1. Open the pdf of your Title Search.
  2. Highlight the entire document (using Ctrl + A).
  3. Copy the highlighted information (using Ctrl + C).
  4. Choose Manual import option in the Title Search Import screen.
  5. Paste the information into the blank text box (using Ctrl + V).
  6. Click Update. A message will appear when the title search has been successfully imported.
  7. Click Close to close the screen.

After the title has been imported, several of the fields within the file will be completed from the title search such as the Transferors, Legal Description, and Registration Details.

InfoNote: Title information can also be added manually by typing the information into the legal description fields on the Property screen.

InfoNote: Realti handles multiple properties, and multiple titles can be imported into a single file. Check out this article on Multi-Title transactions. If you require assistance with working with multiple properties, please contact Support.
