Importing from Teranet Manitoba®

You can import a Title Search from Teranet Manitoba® by performing the following steps in RealtiWeb:
  1. To begin the import process, open a file and navigate to the Details > Basic screen. Alternatively, navigate to the Workspace > Due Diligence > Title Search screen.
  2. In the Details > Basic screen click on the Title Search link at thte top of the screen this enables title searches from Teranet Manitoba® to be imported into RealtiWeb. To use this, save a copy of the Status of Title in XML on your computer, and then click Title Search. Click on Browse to take you to your saved location of that title, select the XML from your computer to be imported.
  3. For the Imported Title Name, select the appropriate phrase from the dropdown. The default is set as Add as Registered Owner and as per Agreement.
  4. For the second and subsequent title imports, or if you have already entered the name, select Match existing Registered/Agreement Name and select the appropriate name from the ellipsis.
  5. For Security Land on a Purchase file where the land is owned by the Purchasers, select Exclude as the relevant land is excluded from the Offer of Purchase between the parties and is only relevant to the Purchaser. Certificate of Title Number, Legal Description and Instruments will show in the relevant boxes.
  6. Finally, click Finish to import the title search.
Note: It is important to handle imported issues in the Issues screen. Check out this article for more information about the Issues list.
