Creating the Other Side File When Acting For Both Parties
Note: The following information is relevant for all versions of RealtiWeb, with the exception of RealtiWeb Ontario. If you're using RealtiWeb Ontario, refer to this article. If you are acting for both parties in a Purchase and Sale transaction, you can create the other side file by performing the following steps:
- Step 1: Open a Purchase or Sale file, and enter all pertinent information regarding the transferees/transferors, property and contract details.
- Step 2: Press the three-dots () in the top right corner of the screen, and select Create Other Side File.
- Step 3: In the window that opens, enter a File No. for the other side file and press Create.
The following options are available after creating connected other side files from the three-dot dropdown:
- Go To Other Side File: easily switch between the two files without the need to head back to the main file screen.
- Disconnect Other Side File: removes the connection between the two files so they no longer sync and these files must be updated separately.
Warning: Should you choose to disconnect the files from each other, they cannot be re-connected again. Use with caution.
