Archiving and Unarchiving a File

Archiving and Unarchiving a File

Once a file passes the Closing Date (or Possession Date in RealtiWeb MB and SK) you can archive the file.

Note: Files are automatically archived 90 days after the Closing (or Possession) date.

On the Main screen, hover the cursor over a file. Three-dots will appear on the far right. Clicking the icon will show the options to Archive or Duplicate the file. Clicking the Archive option will archive the file manually.

Searching for Archived Files

To retrieve an archived file, simply use the search bar at the top of the file list for the file by any known criteria (i.e. Address, Client Name, File Number, etc.).

Alternatively, search for a file by clicking the advanced search icon (next to the + File to create a new file) on the Main screen. To search for all archived files, deselect Active under the Status to exclude active files from the search, along with using other fields to narrow the search results. Click the Search button to run the search.

Activating Archived Files

Activating previously archived files can be accomplished by searching for the archived file as described above. Once the result displays in the file list, hover over the file with the cursor. On the far right, three-dots will appear. Once selected, there will be an option to Activate. Selecting Activate will now display in the file list as an active file.

Archived files may also be reactivated by entering the file, and clicking Activate on the Basic screen under File Details. Once Activate has been selected, the Save button must be clicked in order to keep the file active.
