Adding Registered & Unregistered Charges/Interests (BC)
Registered Interests - Manual Entry
This section allows for the manual entry of issues/charges registered against a title. Use this when a title search was not imported into RealtiWeb and existing registered charges on a title must be dealt with. To start creating an issue, such as a charge, click on one of the headings underneath the Registered Interests heading. In this example, we will be clicking on Registration/Liens/Charges.
A window will popup with a list of categories. For this example, click on Mortgage.

Note: If one of the charges you wish to select is not listed, please select Other in the list. You will then be able to fill out the information as needed for that particular charge.
The Issues WorkBench will open. The screen is tailored to the issue you are creating; in this example, the Issues WorkBench is tailored for a registered mortgage. The Issues WorkBench collects information related to the selected issue and generates the relevant documents.
Note: Added mortgages automatically show up in the undertaking letters (if applicable).
Items from Import - Charges/Interests
After importing your title search, you may see issues listed under Items from Title Search Import. Click on the Edit link to work with each of these items. The Issues WorkBench will open, and it works the same as outlined in this article. Click on the red “X” to remove any items from this transaction (for instance, if you do not want these to be included in the Undertaking Letter, the Adjustments, or the In/Out Trust Statement).
Unregistered Interests
Click on the heading related to the relevant issue. If applicable, a popup will appear with a list of possible options. Click the issue you are adding to RealtiWeb. After specifying the issue (if applicable), the Issues WorkBench tailored for that issue will open.
As with the other categories of items, complete the Description section to ensure the issue will be described properly in your documents. If there is a chevron beside Other Document Fields, click it to expand the section and complete the additional fields.
Use the checkboxes in the Action List (on the left) to add clauses to your documents regarding the issue. After checking the checkbox, any outstanding fields required to add the clause into the document will appear for you to complete.
