Organizing your Master Documents by Category

Organizing your Master Documents by Category

In RealtiWeb, there are three ways of managing and viewing your documents:
  1. By Category
  2. By Package
  3. By All

Organizing Your Documents By Category

You are able to control what documents go into which category by editing their attributes in the master document. To access the list of Master documents, navigate to Settings (on the top right navigation panel) and select Masters under the Documents heading. Search the list to find and select the document you would like to categorize.

The Document Setup screen will open for the selected document. Click on the Settings button to the right of the Document Setup heading. A pop-up will open where you can categorize the document by selecting an option on the Document Category drop-down. You can also select which file types (i.e., Purchase, Mortgage, Sale) are applicable for the particular document by selecting the relevant file type(s) in the Apply To: dropdown.
AlertWhen customizing Master Documents, if you change the document attributes, the document will now be considered a new document and will automatically be taken out of the current package. Please remember to re-add the document back into the appropriate package to resume use of the document from within that package.
To sort your articles by category, open a RealtiWeb file and navigate to the Documents screen. Under the Document Generation section, you can select Category on the left hand panel next to the Documents tab.

Organizing Your Documents By All

When viewing documents by the All option, this displays all documents alphabetically. This includes all documents that are included in the list (LDD documents, customized documents, and additional documents created by your office).

Organizing Your Documents By Package

RealtiWeb enables you to create your own document packages. This feature is useful for generating more than one document at a time, for printing and emailing to the recipient.

Please review the main article on Packages for more information.
