Modifying Master Document Attributes & Setup (WillPowerWeb)

You can change the documents generated in a WillPowerWeb by modifying the master document. To modify a master document, navigate to Tools > Documents in WillPowerWeb. The complete list of master documents will be shown. Select the document modify by left clicking it.

Editing Document Attributes

Once you have selected a document, it will load. Change various attributes by clicking on Edit Attributes. A popup will appear, displaying the following:
  1. Document Name: This updates the name of the document.
  2. Apply To: This identifies when the document should appear in your files. Switch to "Only for Files with Spouse/Partner" for the document to appear in files when there's a spouse or partner.
  3. Document Category: This will set the document to appear in the selected category when viewing the documents list by category.
  4. Loop Based On: This will set the document to repeat itself when generating. For example, setting "All Trustees" will create a copy of the document for each trustee.

Editing Document Appearance and Template Used

Every document is associated with a template. These templates set the margins, fonts and other document settings. To switch the template, click the pencil and then the selector icon to pick a new template.

If the template is setting the correct signing lines, change the margins, fonts and other document settings by clicking the Click to Edit Margins, Fonts, etc. link. This will open the available settings to change as you see fit.

Remember to save your changes.
