Modifying Master Document Attributes & Setup
You can edit the appearance of the documents that you generate in a RealtiWeb by modifying its Master document.
To modify a master document, navigate to
Tools > Documents
in the top navigation pane in RealtiWeb. The complete list of master documents will appear. Select the document that you would like to modify and click on it.
Editing Document Attributes
Once you have selected a master document to modify, a new screen will appear. Navigate to the
Document Setup
section (near the top of the screen) and select the
Edit Attributes
button to the right of
Document Name
. A popup window will appear, displaying the following document attribute fields:
- Document Name: when you change the document name it will automatically create a new (blue document. You will need to add the new (blue document) into the package again and remove the LDD standard (black) document.
- Apply To: you can select if the document will be applicable to Purchase, Sale, Mortgage Files
- Document Category: this would list the document under the selected Category
- Loop Based On: this would create one document for each of field loops selected. Check out this article for more information on clause looping.
Editing Document Appearance and Template Used
The template type associated with the selected master document will have default margins, fonts and other document settings, however, these defaults can be overwritten by selecting Click to Edit Margins, Fonts, etc. in the Document Setup section and adjusting the settings as you see fit.
Alternatively, you can change the template type associated with the master document altogether by clicking the {...] icon for the Template Used field in Document Setup.
Note: You must press the Save button at the top of the master document screen in order for your changes to be effected.
