How to Keep Your Portal Secure
Portal Passwords and Access PINs can be set from the Remote Signing Management Window.
Portal Passwords for Clients
- When setting up a portal file, you can create a unique password for each client that they can use to log in to the Remote Signing Portal.
Note: Always share client passwords in a secure manner. - Alternatively, clients can log in by answering security questions. To do so, click on the blue text below the login button.
Optional Access PIN or LDD Account Login for Law Firm
- For law firms, you can create a 6-Digit Access PIN for your files as a convenient way to log in. It’s your choice whether you use the same PIN for each file.Note: Keep this PIN secure and do not communicate it to your clients. You can use the Access PIN to log in to the portal.
- You can use the Access PIN to log in to the portal. Alternatively, you can use your LDD Account credentials. Switch between these options by clicking on the blue link below the login button.
