Creating a Will in WillPowerWeb in 10 Easy Steps

You can create a Will in WillPowerWeb by following the following steps:

  1. Create a new file and select the Will template.

  2. Complete client information, assets, debts, miscellaneous information as required for the template selected.

  3. Add all of the people to be referred to in the Will, assign designations (relationship to the testator), and administrative duties, as applicable.

  4. Enter gifts, legacies, and the beneficiaries for each.

  5. Complete residue and family disaster clause fields.

  6. Enter information for Power(s) of Attorney, Personal Care Directive(s), Affidavit(s) of Execution, account, and other documents.

  7. Enter witnesses’ names and the number of pages in the Will.

  8. Create documents in the Documents tab.

  9. Have Wills, Power(s) of Attorney, and Personal Care Directive(s) executed and witnessed.

  10. Insert date of execution, the date for review of file, prepare the report to client, and then close the file.
