Navigating the Basic Screen (NS)

The Basic screen is the default screen that opens for all file types after they are created (or after opening a file from your file list). Under the Basic screen there are three tabs:
  1. Basic Information;
  2. Property and Legal Description; and
  3. Contract Details.
As information is entered into RealtiWeb, the system will be able to generate documents with the appropriate information.

Basic Information Screen

The first tab, Basic Information, is where the Purchaser(s), Vendor(s), Firm Contact, Fire Insurance, Title Insurance Provider, and other basic information are added to or edited in the file.

Some of the fields may have been completed during file creation, such as Purchaser(s), Firm Contact, etc; complete any outstanding fields. The more information included in your file, the more complete your documents will be throughout the transaction. You can always come back and add it.

The edit button, to the right of some fields, allows you to edit the information in that database record, for example, a lawyer. Clicking edit opens a screen where you can edit or enter this information.
Run a tax search on the property in Property Online using the same browser RealtiWeb is open in. Keep the tab with the tax search results open and return to RealtiWeb (in another browser tab).

Start the import process by clicking the Import Title Search link. In the popup that appears, click the button that says Click here to import.

The title results will load with options to bring the registered owners, property information, and title issues into your file. After selecting what to import, click Finish at the top of the popup. Refer to creating issues from the Title Search section for how to work with the issues brought into the file.
