Accessing the Email Feature in Realti

Need to email a client or the other side lawyer? You don’t have to leave Realti to do so. You can use the Email feature within a file to send off quick emails to any party listed within the file. Before you can accomplish this, you will need to do a quick set up:
  1. Open a Realti file and click on the Email icon in the Toolbar on the right side of the screen. An email pop-up will appear. Within the pop-up, it will display the current user that is logged in and the corresponding email.
  2. To send an email, you will first need to validate the email address. Press the Validate button. An email will be sent with a validation link to the email address as listed in the email pop-up.
  3. Go to your email's inbox and find the email sent to you by LDD. Within the email there will be a direction to click the provided link to connect the service. Upon clicking the link in the email, a notice will appear in a new browser tab indicating that your email has been verified.
InfoNotes
Important:    You only need to complete these steps one time for each email address that will be using this feature.

Now that the setup is complete, you can return to sending your email:
  1. Go back to your Realti file and re-open the email window.
  2. Specify the Email recipients in the To:, CC: and BCC: fields. You can enter the email addresses manually or by clicking the list icons to the right of the To:, CC: and BCC: boxes.
This will provide you with a list of email addresses within your file that were previously entered by you. You may select multiple entries, however it is suggested that the number of recipients in each of these fields are limited to a maximum of five individuals.
    Each email address must be separated by a semi-colon ( ; ).
  3. You may modify the Subject and the Body of the email as needed in the provided fields. By default the subject line will be your client name with the file type (i.e. p/f, s/t, m/t) identifier along with the other side client name.
  4. Once you are ready to send the email press the Send button in the top right corner.
