Accessing Documents in Microsoft Word & Adobe Acrobat
After you have selected a document to open (on the Docs button screen), the document will merge. This means that the relevant information in your RealtiWeb file has been put into the document.
Across the top of the merged document, you will see Save, Save As, Print, Print Preview, Share, PDF, and MS Word. This article focuses on the PDF and MS Word options. Check out this article for information on sharing and posting documents.
Microsoft Word
There are two options underneath MS Word, these are: Open in MS Word and Save to Hard Drive. Open in MS Word will open the document in Microsoft Word. The Save to Hard Drive will save the document as a Word doc on your computer.
If you select open in MS Word, the document download will commence. Select Open on the Download ribbon pop-up in your browser to open the document in Microsoft Word. Once the document has loaded, you can begin editing its contents in Word.
Note: The content of most non-PDF RealtiWeb documents will be formatted within a table within Microsoft Word. Check out this article from Microsoft on how to format tables in Word.
PDF
There are three options under PDF, these are: Open Acrobat, Download, and Save to Hard Drive.
After clicking Download, you will see a popup across the bottom of your screen. You may Open the file in Adobe Acrobat, Save (which will default to where you save your downloads), or Save As (which will let you select where to save the file). All saved versions will be in PDF format.
